Dr. Bryan A. Mozingo is a second generation Chiropractic Physician. Dr. Mozingo attended Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, IA where he received extensive training on Pain Management, Family Wellness care, Rehabilitation and Exercise, and Posture Correction. After completing his doctorate, Dr. Mozingo has taken postgraduate courses in: Chiropractic Pediatrics and Family Care, Whiplash and Brain Traumatology with the Spine Research Institute of San Diego and Spinal Decompression. Dr. Mozingo went back to school and received FIAMA Certification in 2013. This American program, run through the International Academy of Medical Acupunture. “Fellowship” Certification (FIAMA) is restricted to professionals possessing the degree of MD, DO, DC, ND, DDS and DPM. Fellowship in the International Academy of Medical Acupuncture Inc. is earned after completing the requirements of its one-year program provided through an accredited college. The program consists of postgraduate accelerated didactic symposiums consisting of seven 15-hour didactic modules in addition to 200 hours of documented clinical applications over a period of one year (305 hours). Outside class study and assignments add hundreds of dedicated hours of study to the program. The program terminates with the administration of both the International competency examination (5 hours), in addition to the “Blood borne pathogen/Clean needle examination.
Prior to entering into private practice, Dr. Mozingo was the clinic director for a large multidisciplinary family practice in Ballantyne where he had the opportunity to work alongside physical therapists and in conjunction with medical doctors to provide the best care for his patients.
Dr. Mozingo is happily married to his wife Mary. They enjoy the Carolina beaches, fitness at the Siskey YMCA, and traveling.
Dr. Mozingo is a board member for the Community Health Alliance-Novant Health Matthews Medical Center and Matthews Free Medical Clinic Chiropractic Services Director.
Dr. Kylie P. Rabe, DC
Originally from Des Moines, Iowa, Dr. Kylie P. Rabe, DC has been working towards her dream of becoming a chiropractor since she was in 8th grade. While in high school, she juggled playing 4 sports and completed the first year of her undergraduate degree by taking advanced courses all behind the support of her parents and younger brother. From here, she attended Des Moines Area Community College, where she played softball and was named to the Academic All-American Team. She then transferred to Grandview University where she was awarded the prestigious Presidential Transfer Scholarship for her GPA. Dr. Kylie finally made the move to Davenport, IA where she spent the next 3 and 1/3 years completing her Doctorate in Chiropractic at Palmer College.
From the time she started her first trimester at Palmer, she held a class officer position and was involved in several community services projects put on by the school. Dr. Kylie took several elective courses including Advanced Soft Tissue and Motion Palpation Institute courses that focused on the Rehabilitation Treatment of the athletic population of all levels and advanced courses in Pregnancy and Pediatrics. Through her time in the clinic system at Palmer, Dr. Kylie showed advanced skills in patient education and treatment which granted her the extreme honor of being selected as a Clinical Excellence nominee with a select few other students in her class. Upon graduation, Dr. Kylie chose to take a job in the beautiful Charlotte area, drawn to the Great Smoky Mountains and the proximity of the Atlantic Coast.
With her love of community and wellness, Dr. Kylie hopes to help those in the South Charlotte area receive proper treatment for a variety of conditions while also being a source of support and someone to look towards for advice within the health care field. With her background in athletics, she has a vast knowledge of injuries and preventative measures for athletes of all ages and skill level. She uses a wide variety of procedures and techniques all geared toward patient specific care. These include: spinal and extremity adjustments, myofascial release, low-tech rehabilitation exercises, and end range loading movements.
In her free time she loves to spend time outside with close friends and is always looking for a great hike; and you will catch her singing along with the radio the entire drive. Dr. Kylie also
loves oil painting and cooking healthy recipes she finds on Pinterest and Facebook. She looks forward to becoming a part of the South Charlotte community and meeting your family!
Mercy Martinez, LMBT
Licensed Massage and Bodywork Therapist
Her clients range from those who have postural distortions and chronic pain to those who just need a time to pamper themselves and relax. No matter what the reason is for a client to visit, each one is important and leaves feeling better than they did. Anne has been a massage therapist for over thirteen years, working in all kinds of atmospheres. This has taught her how important atmosphere is. Dim lighting, soothing music, and relaxing surroundings met with her expertise will help you forget about the outside world and focus on you and your healing.
Fiordaliza comes to our practice with a wealth of experience in the medical field. Fiordaliza is the Administrative Manager and manages checking patients in, making appointments, billing, filing, and right-hand to Dr. Mozingo. Fiordaliza is passionate about the “perfect patient experience”. Fiordaliza is bi-lingual in Spanish and is an asset to our Spanish speaking patients. She is happy to work with Dr. Mozingo and the team at Chiropractic Health of Matthews. When Fiordaliza is not working, she likes to spend time with her family and do fun and creative activities.
